According to information gleaned from our Chinese colleagues, this roadster is 4.54 m long (+ 16 cm compared to the current Porsche 718 Boxster *), 1.91 m wide and 1.33 m high. With a wheelbase of 2.69 m (+ 21 cm compared to the German roadster), MG Motor does not seem to have played the agility card. To be confirmed of course. Note that this strict convertible two-seater is equipped with an old-fashioned canvas hood.
A compact roadster with a dynamic but consensual design
The images of the exterior of the Cyberster show that its design is ultimately much wiser than that of the concept presented at the Shanghai Motor Show in 2021, but extremely close to the illustrations accompanying the patent applications filed by SAIC, the group to which MG Motor belongs.
The rear, it is characterized by ostensibly widened wings to muscle the whole and better sit the car. There is a black diffuser with red edges enhanced by an integrated bumper, whose somewhat twisted lines announce the light signature of this Cyberster. The latter is characterized by a light strip over the entire width, as well as by very original lights / indicators. In the shape of an arrow, as in the concept and the illustrations of the patent, they are noticeable at first sight and confer a real visual identity. No official interior shots are available at this time. The only photographs circulating were taken when the Cyberster was immortalized camouflaged in a parking lot in China last January.
